Now for the neat part... for the 99.9% of us who are graphically challenged, this is the tedious process Howard takes to get his finished pieces. The following are "work in progress" scans of myself in the "BankAmericar" AA/FD from the burnout photo (below) taken at Phoenix in 1971. The actual size of the finished piece is on 12"x18" paper and takes up a space of 9"x11". To say I am honored to be a subject of Howard's work would be an understatement. Note: This was before water burnouts. My head is down to keep the liquid VHT (from the bottle) that we put under the tires off my goggles.
